Pinch te gast in Electronic Explorations

Als je 2 van de beste zaken op het elektronische vlak bij elkaar brengt, dan moet het resultaat wel superb zijn. De nieuwe Electronic Explorations met Pinch heb ik zelf nog niet beluisterd, maar ik kan me niet voorstellen dat het tegenvalt.
De radioshow levert namelijk al maanden kostbaar voer voor berichten op Eclectro, terwijl de artiest met Underwater Dancehall 1 van de beste dubstepalbums ooit gemaakt heeft.

Ik vind de mix helaas een beetje tegenvallen. Had van electronic exploration’s “verjaardagsmix” wel iets beters verwacht. Echte onderbouwing op dit laatste tijdstip heb ik niet. Kon in ieder geval niet de hele mix uitzitten.

I think the comment above said you were disappointed … Pinch was always my Number: 1 producer who I had wanted to do the mix from day one, unfortunately he came back from Belgium and had 2 hours sleep b4 making the mix. Also this was a one take mix … no second chance … In my opinion, its excellent…. everything I had hoped for … dubby techy dubstep, the way I like.
All the tracks I chose b4 and after the mix are pretty god damn good.
But opinions count and I am open to hear more ;)
Here’s to another year of EE ;)

I think the mix wasn’t doing it for me yesterday evening, because I needed something to get my energy fix. I think the mix lags that energy a little bit because it hasn’t got the usual dynamic sound I like about EE.
But hey, opinions right, I think EE is doing a hell of great job with all those fine mixes. Happy birthday!

I have to agree with Evert here. I listened to the mix this morning and found there wasn’t much happening in the mix. Doesn’t take away the fact that it is great to have him on your show, a great birthday present indeed!

Mijn eerste reactie was ook niet heel enthousiast. Ik had van Pinch meer verwacht, maar ja na 2 uur slaap een energieke mix in elkaar draaien is misschien wat veel gevgraagd.

Zelf nu ook beluisterd, en ik ben het eens met de opmerkingen hierover. Het is een wel aardige mix, maar (wederom) zijn het vooral de platen van Booth zelf die de échte meerwaarde bieden. Niettemin erg okay om iemand als Pinch te hebben voor je verjaardag. Eens kijken of wij voor volgend jaar ook iemand kunnen strikken. Misschien Tiësto?
