Electronic Explorations ontmoet Ai Records

Zoals altijd is ook de nieuwe editie van het online radioprogramma Electronic Explorations een ware traktatie voor de avontuurlijke liefhebber van electronica. De uitgelichte producer tijdens de show van Rob Booth is ditmaal The Third Man, die halverwege oktober zijn debuutplaat Clarion Call uitbrengt op het fameuze Ai Records (een label dat eerder op Eclectro voorbijkwam, maar toen niet in een al te positieve context).

Zowel dat album als zijn promomix voor Electronix Explorations zal bij veel Eclectro-bezoekers in goede aarde vallen. Voor het radioprogramma kiest The Third Man vooral voor dubby, beatsgeoriënteerde idm, terwijl hij op Clarion Call wat ruwere techno en acid ten gehore brengt.

Het goede nieuws hierbij is dat het hele album momenteel in vrij hoge kwaliteit gestreamd kan worden via de muziekspeler van The Third Man. Dat, in combinatie met de altijd downloadbare radioshow, zorgt voor minimaal 2 uur nieuwe ontdekkingen. Bovengetekende gaat alvast het album ergens kopen, want dit lijkt op authentiek kwaliteitswerk op idm-gebied.
